Survivalism is more than just being ready for disasters and other events. Disaster preparedness and homestead living isn’t just a lifestyle—it’s also a community. There has always been a negative stigma about survivalists as being selfish or only doing what they can to protect their own. That’s simply untrue and we want to dispel that.

Other than our own website, there are a plethora of other survivalist sites that you can go to for more discussions. We do our part and checking them everyday for new updates or techniques. In the hopes that more and more people understand that survivalism is something that anyone can pick up, here are a few links that we ourselves use:

American Preppers Online

This website tackles more than just a place to get the more recent tips that are pertinent to survivalism but you also get a different person’s view on politics and other topics. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as much as possible, you should filter out things that you may find offensive and just focus on the task at hand.

Apartment Prepper

Who says you need to have your own large real estate to be a prepper? Join this clever bunch as they tackle survivalism all from an apartment setting. It’s a refreshing new take on the whole concept of surviving from pretty much anywhere.

Common Sense Homesteading

Honestly, this is one of our favorite homestead websites. Laury shares so much practical steps and tips that you’ll ever wonder why you bothered to go out of your home for your food.
